Although it's not the cheapest on the market it is a really good price (under �100). I was AMAZED at the quality of the screen. It is really easy to use and has a great battery life. The additional cables for connecting to a TV and charge in the car are a bonus and the remote is useful if using in the home. Before the outer part of the dvd player used to be shiny and smooth. I purchased the pink version now and it's like a matt texture. I will upload a picture shortly so you will be able to see what I mean. Looks wise I preferred it before but I much prefer this new finish because it won't scratch as easily as the old version. Children are not exactly careful when handling these items. The older version had a 5 hour battery life and I was surprised to see that is has now decreased to 4hrs not a big difference. The best improvement of all is the picture quality. It is nowhere as pixelated as the old version. The image is lovely and crisp and I am really pleased with that. They also changed the charger .. thank God for that! it is much sturdier! the old one broke... I wasn't disappointed. The sound and picture quality are fantastic. I've also played cds and the sound is great and the volume goes plenty high enough for use at home too. The screen is a good size and the dvd player seems robust (after flights, trains and a ferry journey...all intact!). Just as an extra the 'red' colour looks great! So happy with this purchase! |
