My husband and two grandsons took this player on Holiday along with a bunch of DVD's. It could be connected to the in house tv or viewed independently. Having a dedicated player of this quality proved a simple and efficient resource. I would highly recommend this product

Overall I am very happy with this machine.It has a sufficiently large screen to fully appreciate DVDs.My previous portable players were only 7 inch in size.The picture and sound qualities are superb when connected to a television via HDMI.The sound quality is also very good using earphones.However,listening with the supplied speakers is tinny,which is perhaps to be expected for a player of this size.
I use this mainly for travel to connect to hotel televisions.I could now never go back to cheaper and smaller portable DVD players.
The player came with a 2 pin plug,but of course there is no problem attaching an adapter for UK mains supply.
